School's on. Again

I was going to update my blog earlier, but promised the heavens above that I wouldn't touch the PC for at least two weeks, a promise which i forfeited by the mere act of typing this post. Hehe. It wasn't my fault (sad, pouty face sucking finger) it was the English teacher's. Which reminds me i'm typing on borrowed time. Have to do my project soon.

I can't type about everything i did since school started (like reading a whole damn chunk of bible verses to the St Thom and St Mae Form 4 (while Cassandra read such a tiny piece - unfair), so i'm just going to outline the bare facts.

First and formost (this i had to write), the Teachers...

Eng - Mrs Jennifer Kong. Had gone through two surgeries and blames her bad memory on the anesthetic. Luckily it hasn't affected her teaching abilities. I like her.

BM - Cikgu Yusof. My Form 3 teacher and still going strong. Loves to joke and tell controversal stories in class. And still likes to smack people randomly with his cane.

Maths - Pn ???. Forgot the name. Nickname her Toothpick. Very, very short. Likes saying "Okay," Excerpt:

"Yang seterusnya ialah graf, okay? Ini tidak boleh salah, okay? Mesti ukur tepat, okay? Jika 6.0cm tulis 6.0cm, okay? Tidak boleh 6.1cm okay? Salah. Okay? Okay."

Say that in a chinese accent and you've got it.

Add. Maths - Mrs Lau. Nickname her Mouse. She looks like one, but moves over the whiteboard with the speed of a cheetah and stamina of an elephant. Likes to hold chalk with tissue paper, probably scared of chalk. Perhaps her mother taught her chalk was poisonous.....
She's our form teacher. Talks too soft and teaches too fast. Not promising.

Biology - Looks like a nerd, with glasses the size of basketball courts. Very good teacher. I like her.

Chemistry - Pn. Lye . Most horrible. If Karl was here he would have described her as bitchy. I don't use the word, but you get the general idea. She was pregnant last year. Perhaps suffering from hormonal imbalance???

Physics - Mrs Tan. Talks like a bullet train. Blurs the words until you're listening to a perverbial monkey. Was warned by Sze Howe that she couldn't teach 1+1 even if she tried.

Moral - Mr Louis Anthony. From Form 3. Nothing new to say. He's good, overall. And very black.

EST - Pn. Julia Jok. Extremely respectable english teacher. Looking forward to her classes. Only problem is that it takes place from 1:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon. Sigh. There goes Judo.

Sejarah - Cikgu Dayang. Recommended by Cikgu Elin. Should be good. Only insists on asking students to elaborate topics in front of the whole class. You can bet i'll be forced to be among the first. I've public spoken too many times this year.

And its only January. Sigh.

New Year Resolution

So its 2005, year of the Rooster and the start of additional math. Woohoo! I was supposed to post my list of resolutions yesterday, but was too groggy with chocolate laced rum to typr properly. BUT i managed to complete the darn website by 12:30 AM. I'm so proud. Really i am.

Okay, let's get straight to the topic, shall we?

My resolutions for 2005:

1) Learn to be more polite.
During the registration, i exclaimed shit you when Randy walked smugly into the classroom. Damn. I soooo regret that. It was, of course, my way of admiring his achievement, but i think he took it the wrong way. He did hide whatever he was feeling well, though. So perhaps i should think before i let my big mouth exclaim something i would regret. Sigh.

2) Survive Grade 5 Piano. Another year, another friggin exam. 'Surviving" here means not failing and stumbling over key notes (or singing out of tune at the wrong moment) and also not taking the exam book and hitting the examiner.

3) Survive Tay. Another year, another set of piggish moments. This guy cant stop being childish. Its like God decided one day, "Hey, what if i freezed frame a person's mind?" And he unfortunately choose Tay. I must find a way to deal with him. Although he's okay when he chooses to be.

4) Update Manticorefiction and make sure it doesn't die out The online series I created isn't going to be easy to maintain. But i'll work at it with Paul. Check it out

5) Learn more economics Its one subject that has relevance to my future. I gotta understand why when American dollar drops, the economy of that darn country rises.
