You probably know I hate pink, but once a year in October they have this campaign called Pink For October. It is the brainchild of a dude called Matthew Oliphant, who writes:
“Web sites will Go Pink during the month of October to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research.”Web designers (and other denizens of the web) change their website designs to features some form of pink. My blog was simple enough to edit (it's based on the Minima theme), so I just tweaked the colours, reached deep into my bag of header images (I have very few pink ones) and voila! I present to you: strawberries and cream!
Instant femininity on this blog, a concept that still gives me the heeby jeebies. For more information on breast cancer awareness/prevention, check out this site. To the rest of you bloggers out there: join in!
