Go Figure

Several years ago, Vijay Singh applied for Malaysian PR status. And it was pointed out to me that if Malaysia had given PR status to Vijay Singh, we can proudly say that the World No 1 golfer is a Malaysian. But it is fortunate that he did not become a Malaysian citizen. Otherwise, he will not be the World No 1 golfer.

I'm living in a period of uneasy truce between two wars

Yep, that's right. And no, i'm not living in some far middle-eastern country, i'm just facing a long uphill battle against boredom. The is my little paradox:

On normal schooldays, i fight homework and responsibilities that seem to love being shoved onto my shoulders.

On exams (which is now, basically) I fight falling asleep over textbooks and manuscripts (hey, still have to keep in touch with piano music, okay?) And i even feel guilty whipping out a laptop in my room and loading up a Warcraft skirmish. Its like, now in form 4, i have no time. Everywhere i go its "Hoi man, plan your next hour carefully - no that bed isn't for you, you can't just flop down and sleep, you're not allowed, oh shit -*snore*."

The parody of having an unconscious internet timetable in my mind is scary. Its "Self, you have to spend less than five minutes in Yahoo, five in Gmail, five in Hotmail, twenty in Blogger, don't turn up the volume on that Hanson tune, go and check your Earth 2025 account, no, you can't download songs anymore - no time .... Now admin the Thomian forum, and don't reply to that vulgar Nigerian general asking to hand over your life savings *roll eyes*

And that's why i have to stop writing and check my Flickr account.

Chao.
